He truly is a miracle, and it was such a pleasure to have taken care of him.” Fast-forward to July 2018 when Palmer walked in with just the assistance of a cane at MRHC Home Health and Hospice on Harper Road in Corinth. He greeted everyone that helped him along his journey with smiles and hugs and was excited to show them how he could walk up and down the stairs in the physical therapy room with no assistance. This was, no doubt, a huge improvement from a year ago, when he was bedbound and not able to walk at all. Palmer’s positive attitude is a shining beacon to those in difficult circumstances. “It’s a journey. It will probably be a journey for the rest of my life.” He takes his recovery one day at a time and keeps living his life to the fullest in the meantime.
