Magnolia Matters - 2019 Fall/Winter
Healthcare Heroes Program In 2017 Magnolia Foundation launched its Grateful Patient and Family Program highlighting MRHC providers and staff. The Healthcare Heroes Program offers a way for you to say “thank you” to your doctor, nurse, or other caregiver at Magnolia Regional Health Center. When you contribute financially to the Grateful Patient and Family Program, you recognize and celebrate the excellent care you or a loved one received at MRHC, and in turn, you are helping others. When a staff member is recognized through this program, they are treated with promotional items declaring that they are an MRHC Healthcare Hero. They are also mentioned in the quarterly Magnolia Foundation newsletter. And are also provided with the story of why the donor felt the need to recognize the excellent care they or a loved one received while at MRHC. Magnolia Foundation knows the importance of each employee and provider at MRHC and the issues they face every day. Our work can be difficult and emotional, but so rewarding at the end of the day. We love taking care of our patients. All proceeds from this program benefit the Thomas L. Sweat, MD, Health Education Center Building Fund, Magnolia Foundation’s current capital campaign.
