Magnolia Matters - 2019 Fall/Winter

For more information regarding the 2020 MRHC Healthcare Summer Intern job after the beginning of 2020 or in early spring, visit MRHC.org/Careers This summer, MRHC was joined by a group of interns as part of our Healthcare Summer Internship Program. Each intern is actively enrolled in a direct patient care program and was given the opportunity to work closely alongside staff of the same discipline as the intern’s college major. While they were exposed to many clinical education opportunities, they also participated in classroom learning sessions, research, team building exercises, and a community service project. Each intern was able to experience face-to-face interactions with patients and healthcare professionals while being able to acquire knowledge from their preceptor that they had yet to receive in their college courses. We are so proud of each of them and the excellence they brought to MRHC during their internship tenure and of the lasting professional relationships that were formed.
