People who suffer from sleep disorders may have some of the following symptoms: • Increased sleepiness during the day • Restlessness while sleeping at night • Difficulty falling asleep at different times • Reduction of concentration, memory, and attention • Increased periods of urination during the night • Sleepiness while on the job • Morning headaches • Inability to complete needed tasks at home • Feelings of no sleep when you rest for eight or more hours at a time • Weight gain that continues or weight that is difficult to lose • Loud snoring that disturbs others around you • Difficulty staying awake while driving At Magnolia Regional Health Center, we are committed to your restful sleep. The Sleep Disorders Lab at MRHC specializes in the disorders that affect your sleep and has the ability to conduct a polysomnograph, a test used to diagnose sleep disorders. During the test, your brain waves, blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and breathing will all be measured.
